That's a question we had and we thought we'd start tracking down some of the practitioners in the mobile ministry field and trying to find out a bit more about their experience with it. Mobile Advance seeks to promote the use of mobiles for the spread of God's glory and kingdom among all the peoples of the world. At the same time, we are forced to recognize that mobiles can sometimes make an extremely negative impact that our enemy would use to tear down the Church and even the most basic institution God has instituted to show His character and love to an unbelieving world- the family.
You need only go to a family-friendly restaurant and see parents engrossed in their smartphones while their kids play on their DS across the table or consider the latest headlines about a congressman's resignation to see that mobile is truly a double edged sword.
